Partnering with Thai National Parks for coral reef conservation
This Coral Propagation Course was organized in conjunction with Sea Shepherd affiliated dive center Princess Divers for National Park personnel and members of Reef Guardian Thailand and Projects Abroad . Starting on 22 December, 2016 until 24 December, 2016. The presentation is held on 22 December at the National Park Center at Hat Noppharat Thara. It includes discussion on coral reef rehabilitation systems and coral propagation techniques.

Coral Propagation Trainer Course
Sea Shepherd Dive Trainer course at Princess Divers, Phi Phi Island, Thailand. This is the first trainer course ran by Ocean Quest in 2017. The course starts on January 10 until 15. Follow up classes were held between January 15 until 19 for those who are working.

3 day Coral Camp for kids in San Remigio, Cebu. Headed by instructors of Ocean Quests, kids ages 13-17 were taught coral conservation and coral rescue. Was able to rescue and rebuild more than a hundred broodstock in 3 days. Amazing work.

Project Abroad have been running volunteering programs for reef survey in Ao Nang Thailand. After Ocean Quest Coral Propagation workshop in November 2016 in that location, they decided to adopt Ocean Quest’s programs for their volunteers.
